Mission of JED-International
The mission of JED-I is to support the development and daily functioning of babies, children and adolescents and their families resulting in a better quality of life for all.
Through occupational therapy services, JED-I aims at the fulfillment of the individual in their physical, mental, sensory, social and spiritual dimensions (values and mindfulness) for optimal autonomy in their daily occupations (self-care, learning, play/recreation) at home, at school, and any other environments in the community.

- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from McGill University, Montreal (Quebec, Canada); Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics and School Practice, 1991, SUNY at Buffalo University (USA)
- Member of the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ) (permit 84-087), www.oeq.org

- Member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT)
- Member of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT)
- Recipient of the Prix Mérite du CIQ (Award of the Interprofessional Council of Quebec) in 2015 - prize awarded to an occupational therapist who has distinguished him/herself in the service of his profession and to their professional Order (licensing body) *
- Over 25 years of experience working with babies, children and teens with a variety of issues affecting their full participation in their daily lives
- Highly competent with good communication skills
- Work experience as:
- Clinical therapist in a variety of settings (hospital, rehabilitation center, home care, school) in Canada and abroad (US; Botswana/Africa)
- University teacher (SUNY at Buffalo-NY/USA; Dalhousie University-Halifax/Nova Scotia/Canada)
- Continuing education provider for occupational therapists, teachers and school-based workers as well as day care educators
- Program coordinator
- Evaluator for Occupational Therapy Skills Assessment Jurys at the OEQ
- Consultant for the Admissions Program of the OEQ
